I think the president should be someone who graduated from TSU and has the best interest of the university in their heart. However, it seems that it doesn't matter who is hired because when they get the position, their head is going to expand and their hands are going to get sticky. It is ashame that black people can't get prominent positions and try to make it better for others. Everyone is not going to rest until TSU is under the University of Texas system (like the rest of the HBCU's are under a white system). I guest everyone will be satisfied when we are under the "master" and we have to live by their rules and believe me, that will be the end of open enrollment, which enables students who oridnarily would not be accepted into other universities, get the opportunity to pursue a higher education. The real travesty is how we are presenting a negative image to the publc. Instead of our motto being "Excellence in Achievement", it should be "Ignorance in Education"!
Can someone tell me about the Center on the Family and Dr. Bobbie Henderson. I want to know how that center manages to have over 40 programs and all of those staff members? What is really going on?

stop just throwing names out there Dr. Bobbie has given to much to TSU to disrespect her everybody at TSU is not fuck up or crooked.
Perhaps, the Board will give us the distinguished, former coach, AD,dean of education, professor, and u.s.secretary of education. Paige has distinguished himself at everything. Why not president of TSU?
Some has never read Ira Bryant's "History Of TSU".
The White folks created TSU and through the Board of Regents have keep the school under thier thumb.
It has always been under the Master.
WHY do you think these people are in thier positions and keep them.
The real travesty is there is no Revolutionary Thought.
PV is under A&M, check thier Endowment over the last 30 years.
Perhaps the revolutionary thought might be to have something that is totally managed by african americans and be financially sound. Yes, I know all about Prairie View because I attended the school. I also know that TSU was established because we could not attend a UT or any other white university. Personally, I feel that it is a problem when I look at HBCU'S and see most of them under a system such as Texas A&M, UT, etc. Why can't we donate back to our university as well as be active in the alumni and make sure the school is being run properly? We can't do that because we are too busy talking about the school and making ignorant comments such as "I am not giving back to TSU because I had to stand in the line too long." Maybe if we all had the true love for our university, it would not be in the shape that it is in currently.
Giving bWilson that kind of power is a big mistake! he just can run his shop on 1st floor. so, does that mean gayla thomas will vp of academic affairs? what kind of board do tsu have? have they gone crazy.......
Don't worry CODW, everything that is done in the dark will come to the light! Gayla and Bobby think everything will work in their favor, but it won't! It has been fun everyday watching the both of them and flunkie Hasan try to keep 2 steps ahead of the media and the police. I have 2 words and a # for all of you-(Channel 13 Undercover) Speaking of Hasan, maybe we should check out the landscaping done at his house! Moving on to bigger things, let's also take a look at the numbers. How can TSU truly boast about being the 2nd largest HBCU? We all know the numbers were "played with" and all three of you are guilty. Hasan, I have to hand it to you-you are smart. I see that degree in business finally paid off! If I were you, I would get on the first plane smokin' back to wherever the hell you came from, but I understand-why would you want to leave when you can make more $$$ teaching classes AND working FULL-TIME (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) as an Assistant Vice-President of the "Enrollment Management Circus of the Want to Be Stars." How can these things be?
